Today was a rest day. We mostly stayed in the house we're staying at, but we did go for a walk once the sun came out! We figured out what our plan is for the rest of the trip, and managed to fix our domestic flight to ensure we can get back to Delhi to catch our international flight (the airport we were originally meant to use in Kochi is closed until the 26th due to flooding). For the rest of the day, we hung out and played board games - our favourite is called Avalon.
One other thing we did was take a good look a rupees and realize that they make no sense. For example, there are at least three different sets of coins, and I'll attach a picture of three different 2 rupee coins we have found. We also noticed awhile ago that there is a 10 rupee coin as well as a 10 rupee bill. But today, to make things even more confusing, we found a different 10 rupee bill!
We don't understand how vending machines would work... But we also haven't seen any, so this might be why!
